Deleted scene from Dirty Dancing surfaces and people are in love

This scene reveals so much about their characters to me.

The romantic-drama dance film “Dirty Dancing,” released in 1987, has become a cult classic, inspiring many others to learn to dance and even imitate the movie’s moves, particularly the recognizable lift.

Johnny Castle and Frances “Baby” Houseman are played by Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, respectively. It is about a young woman at a resort who falls in love with a dance instructor.

Go ahead and see the movie if you haven’t already.
As with any movie, there are a lot of mistakes made during production, and a few scenes that were cut from the finished product. Some of these scenes never make it to the big screen for reasons most people are unaware of. Just to be delivered independently so that purchasers could see.

This deleted scene of Swayze and Grey, in which Johnny Castle appears to be instructing Frances Houseman on how to dance for their performance at the Sheldrake, is a good example.

The film’s director, Emile Ardolino, insisted on casting dancers.

Swayze was in the cast because Grey seemed to have great chemistry with him, unlike other actors who were offered the role.
